Not the green ones, with dead people faces on them. Those always seem to work.

iPhone’s have a “Block Number” option. Been using it to block those annoying warranty scam calls.

my android also has it, but it just sends them straight to voicemail. This way when they text back or call it acts like the phone has been disconnected.

Interesting. I’m pretty sure blocking on iOS is similar to what you’re describing Google Voice does. I don’t get voicemails from blocked numbers but I have no way to know if they have attempted a call.

yeah I looked into it and it has something to to with the carrier having rights to block calls or something, so what the software does is it just chooses to tell the incoming call that your device is busy and refuse to ring it in, but it still reaches the carrier where your voicemail lives.

Somebody some where is looking for a house to live in on Craigslist. I know because they put my number in the ad.

I use a “burner” app for classified questions/transactions. The numbers cost $2 for 30 days, but it’s nice to have a full “disconnect” when you run into a real psycho.
